Bye Bye Birdie with Briggon Snow! (Re-Broadcast)

Brad Taylor (Zachery Ty Bryan) breaks up with Jenny Sudarsky (Jessica Wesson) because she won’t let him copy her math homework anymore – and his grades suffer as a result. Randy (Jonathan Taylor Thomas) suggests that Brad play it up like Jenny broke up with him so he can get sympathy from Jill (Patricia Richardson) and distract from his bad grades. But when Jill discovers the truth, she and Tim (Tim Allen) punish him by trying to teach him math.

Meanwhile, an annoying woodpecker has taken residence in the roof of the Taylor house, leading Tim to take crazier and crazier steps to try and scare it away.

Audio Commentary: My Dinner with WilsonSeason 4, Episode 9

My Dinner with Wilson (1994) | Home Improvement

Audio Commentary: My Dinner with Wilson

Get those DVD players poised and your remotes ready to go, it’s time for another interactive audio commentary! We’ve chosen the fan favorite episode My Dinner with Wilson, which gives us a chance to dive in to the life of our favorite face-covered neighbor.

What is an interactive commentary? Unlike most commentary tracks which are married to the image, with the podcast space, we are able to pause and continue our commentary to speak more in-depth. Time no longer matters. We’re essentially a couple of Doctor Who’s up in here.

This episode is designed to be listened to on its own or with the visual component. If you’re watching along with our commentary, here are the pause points:

04:31 – Wide shot of Tim, Randy, and Brad by the front door of the Taylor house
08:04 – Wide shot of Wilson’s dining area
21:12 – Coming out of commercial break, Wilson blowing into conch shell

Synopsis

It’s Thanksgiving! and Wilson has invited the Taylors over for a feast. However, when a home appraiser accidentally shows up at the Taylor’s house, it’s revealed that Wilson is considering selling. When they ask him about it, Wilson explains that he is considering holding up a vow to his late wife by moving to Ecuador where they originally met and fell in love. But, he finds that maybe, just maybe, talking about her to others is a way to keep her memory alive.

Also, Tim tries to get a dead rat out of the wall.

Grunt Work Mix Tape, Vol. 4

After complaining about the fact that no one likes clip shows, here’s one anyway!

We couldn’t get to the mics this week, so we wanted to provide you something. Instead of rereleasing an old episode, we thought the least we could do was put together some of our favorite riffs from this season.

We’ll see y’all next week for the season 4 finale!

A Marked ManSeason 4, Episode 24

A Marked Man (1995) | Home Improvement

A Marked Man

When Al Borland (Richard Karn) discovers a Swiss Army Knife missing from Harry’s Hardware, he suggests to Tim (Tim Allen) that one of his sons may have stolen it, as they were the last people seen admiring it before it disappeared. Tim and Jill (Patricia Richardson) are dubious, and the boys claim innocence – but when Tim discovers the missing knife in a pair of Mark’s jeans, his anger at the theft and Mark’s deception leads him to yell at the boy and label him a no good thief. When a traumatized Mark disappears afterwards, Tim learns from Wilson (Earl Hindman) that sometimes there’s value in a gentler approach to discipline.
