This Week on Home Improvement…

Jill is working on her master’s and is overworked. With little room to take care of the kids, home, and do her research paper, she tells Tim he can build her an office in the attic. However, during a session with a therapist, she realizes that she takes on too many things and asked for the attic for the wrong reasons. Tim, after talking to Wilson, realizes that he needs to build because it helps him come to insights.

This Week on Home Improvement…

Randy has found his new topic for the school paper: what local companies are doing to clean up the environment. Tim suggests writing about Binford, but when evidence turns up that Binford is one of the top 10 local polluters, the article takes a different slant than Tim anticipated. After Randy confronts Bud and calls Tim a sell-out, he writes a Pulitzer winning article that changes the course of environmentalism and ceases climate change in its tracks, forever saving our planet, the benefits we still receive 25 years later. Thank you, Randy.

This Week on Home Improvement…

In the season 7 premiere of Home Improvement, the Taylors are heading up to their cabin at the lake for some rest and relaxation – but Tim (Tim Allen) is acting strange. He’s using five dollar words like “vis a vis” and “quid pro quo” while dropping constant hints about some big surprise he has in store for the family. Meanwhile, a newly single Brad (Zachery Ty Bryan) is despondent over the loss of his lady love Angela, while Mark (Taran Noah Smith) has begun dressing in all black. After some lighthearted lakeside shenanigans, Tim reveals his surprise: he’s going to buy the rundown lodge by the lake and renovate it so they can all move up there and run it together as as a family.

About Grunt Work
Grunt Work is a comedy podcast where each week we cover an episode of the TV show ‘Home Improvement’.

But it’s so much more than that; it’s an examination of masculinity, a time capsule, and “metaphor for how we live[d] in the 90s”. Often, it’s a descent into madness.

Is Grunt Work for You?
We recommend our show for listeners who enjoy comedic takes on pop culture, often veering into the obscure and highfalutin; the perfect blend of stupidity and wit.
